Mosqu1t0, may I use your image in my open-source software project, with attribution and a link to your deviantart profile?
I am planning to write a client for an online board game server and I want to use it as the background image for the main playing window, behind the game board.
I have uploaded a screenshot that illustrates my vision for the game board: [link]
countless wooden walls using the exact same pattern are available on dA, but this is by far my favourite one. in fact i am using it for quite some time now.
however, i was always wondering who would be the original artist who has created and released it first?
i was once told that it was extracted from an IKEA webpage. others claimed that they created it from scratch.
well, the mistery may never be solved.
but as i said, from all the different versions out there (blueish, brighter, dark, greyscaled, glossy, highlighted etc) i like yours the most.
Used as background for my latest work looking forward to Windows Ten (WinX)
